Procedure
- Through remote or hidden incisions, the orbital bones are cut, repositioned or reconstructed. to restore normal eye position
Recovery
- Patients recover in hospital for 2 - 4 days
- Incisions are healed within 2 weeks
- Return to school or work after 2 weeks, but no strenuous activity or contact sports 8 weeks
- Subtle swelling and numbness in the forehead or cheeks may persist for 6 months

Risks
- Infection, hematoma, wound healing problems
- Eyelid deformity
